Health and Safety policy

Here at Clean Linen Services, we take our responsibilities for the health, safety and welfare of our customers, members of the public and our own staff very seriously indeed.

Following the introduction of our new OHSAS 18001-compliant Safety Management System two years ago, along with an intense training programme for all of our employees, we have seen great improvement in our safety record.

Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents – Gold Award

In 2012, we were presented with a Silver Award by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for our efforts.

Through our continued efforts and improvement in our safety record, RoSPA have informed us that, in 2013, we have qualified for their coveted Gold Award, presented for the sustained improvements over the period.

British Safety Council – International Safety Award

To add to this highly-prestigious award, the British Safety Council (BSC) has informed us that we are to be presented with their International Safety Award with Merit. This award scheme is open to companies world-wide - putting us, in health and safety achievement terms, alongside large, international organisations and businesses.

We are very proud that our efforts have been acknowledged with of these two, highly-prized and coveted awards, demonstrating commitment, throughout the organisation, to the health and safety of all those who may be affected by our operations.

In order that our Customers may be secure in the knowledge that we have robust health and safety procedures in place, Clean Linen Services is a registered member of the SafeContractor scheme.
