Record-breaking CLEAN is creating 25 new jobs after it’s Nottingham-based laundry achieved its highest ever production levels last month.
During the week of 14 August 2017, the production team based in CLEAN’s Canterbury Road, Radford, laundry fulfilled a record-breaking 476,995 orders for its clients, which include hotels and restaurants based in the Nottinghamshire area. The seven days saw more than 70 items of linen or workwear being laundered during every minute of its operation.
The previous site production record of 450,000 items in a week was set over the busy summer holidays in 2016 and has since been broken three times this year, before amounting to the impressive production levels achieved this August at the award-winning laundry.
With its sights set on further expansion, CLEAN’s Nottingham laundry is currently recruiting for 25 roles including both general and key operatives, team leaders, production managers and engineers. The independent laundry, which has six other production facilities throughout the UK, is looking to recruit passionate people, to join its innovative and pro-active team that works from a foundation of excellence underpinned by service and quality.
Iain Corner, CLEAN’s Nottingham site director, said: “I’m extremely proud of our team and what they have achieved during the peak season, especially as they already set a new site record at the beginning of August. Summer is always the busiest time of year for us as there is such an increase in demand for laundry services from our hotel clients.”
