Stuart Calder has been appointed service development director at one of the UK's leading independent laundry companies as CLEAN continues to go from strength to strength.
Stuart joins the company with a wealth of industry experience having previously held customer centric and senior management roles at other textile services companies including Paragon Group, which was acquired by CLEAN in 2015, and more recently a position at Berendsen, Stuart’s appointment will deliver the smooth operation of CLEAN’s new dedicated customer service centre that recently opened at CLEAN House in Berkshire.
Stuart’s proven track record of building great, long lasting customer relationships within the industry impressed the senior management team. His vast commercial laundry experience and managerial skills are incredibly valuable and will be integral to delivering CLEAN’s vision of being the leading linen supplier of choice for the UK hospitality industry at a time of development and well documented growth.
Speaking of his appointment, Stuart said: “CLEAN is leading by example in the industry as its efforts to become the hospitality industry’s leading flatwork provider has seen phenomenal success in the last 12 months. The role of service development director is a natural progression for me at an exciting time for CLEAN, whom I see firmly as a market leader in both vision and strategic direction.
“My vision is that we develop a culture that ensures the voice of the customer is heard at every level of the business. I’m looking forward to working alongside a growing team of forward-thinking, ambitious individuals that will put CLEAN at the forefront of the laundry industry and deliver real value to its customers in everything it does.”
Working from a foundation of excellence, CLEAN’s philosophy is that service underpins product, and Stuart will help to oversee and improve the systems and processes in place that enable CLEAN to deliver the ultimate customer experience.
