Internal Account Manager at our Head Office
“I’m one of the Internal Account Manager’s working as part of the Customer Service Centre team at CLEAN’s head office in White Waltham near Maidenhead. CLEAN operates 7 strategically located laundries throughout the UK. We manage thousands of customers and process many millions of linen items every week ready for distribution to customers by our transport and logistics team. The customer Service Centre deals with customer issues, queries and orders on a daily basis. We liaise with the site production and transport teams to ensure a proactive service is delivered.”
“I was recently promoted from Customer Service Executive to Internal Account Manager. One day, I would like to progress to be an External Account Manager, allowing me to work face to face with customers. I have been working closely with the Account Managers in the field, even shadowing them and meeting customers at their premises.”
What does my job involve?
“My job involves helping customers by reviewing stock levels, customer satisfaction, contracts, quantity business reviews (QBRs) and helping to solve any other issues they may have. My job also involves visiting customers with an External Account Manager to discuss performance against contractual key performance indicators (KPI’s) and any specific issues as recorded on our centralised CRM platform.”
Whats it like to work at CLEAN?
“We get support from everyone through training really which helps develop your confidence. There is a lot of encouragement to progress to a different role or department within the company, and the managers are always willing to help, and listen to any new ideas you may have to help benefit the department. If I had to describe the culture at CLEAN in three word they would be mindful, diverse and strong.”
