“I started working for CLEAN 9 years ago at their Camberley laundry site, my Mum and I transferred to the Slough laundry last year.”
What does my job involve?
“My job involves making sure that all the vehicles are loaded correctly on time; it’s vital that the vehicles are loaded with the correct cages of linen for the route because if this goes wrong it’s not just one customer that is affected but all the customers on that route. I also help the drivers unload when they return to the laundry to make sure that the next delivery is ready to be loaded to keep the turnaround time as short as possible. The cages of linen are heavy and could be hazardous if they are not handled correctly and all the health and safety procedures are not followed correctly.”
Whats it like to work at CLEAN?
“Both my mum and I have worked at CLEAN for nine years. She works in production on the towel folding machine. Since working here I have learnt a lot about different cultures because I work with people from different countries.”
Away from work
“In my spare time I am a gamer and I love to invest in the latest technology whether it's the latest smart phone, computer or TV, plus I like eating and tasting different foods.”
