CLEAN’s CEO Jason Miller has been named as a finalist in the London and South EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 Awards in the ‘Transformational Leader’ category. Jason joins 32 business leaders from 27 companies that boast a combined workforce of over 16,600 people and a collective turnover of more than £1.06bn.
The Entrepreneur of the Year programme celebrates the entrepreneurial men and women who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses. The UK’s entrepreneurs are helping to create jobs and wealth, bring new innovative products and concepts to the market and encourage creativity and competition and CLEAN is delighted that Jason has been recognised in this area by being shortlisted.
An independent panel of judges will select finalists in each category, covering London and the South; the Midlands; the North and Scotland, will whittle the shortlist down based on the contribution they’re making to our economy and the legacy they’re building. Each finalist will then be invited to the UK Final held in London in October where the individual who has been awarded the prestigious ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year’ title is revealed.
Now in its 31st year globally and 19th year in the UK, EY Entrepreneur of the Year recognises exceptional entrepreneurs from more than 145 cities in over 60 countries worldwide.
Jason has been the driving force behind CLEAN’s substantial growth and transformation which involved the 2015 acquisition of Paragon Laundry, making CLEAN the second largest hospitality flatwork provider in the UK, and the opening of a £15m super laundry in Berkshire this year.
