We have recently made some changes to our Customer Service provision here at CLEAN. In this blog post we explain where our customers will notice a difference and provide the new customer service number.
The first change is that we have relocated our customer service department away from a centralised call centre. Customers will now be served by the team at the laundry that processes and delivers their orders. The main benefit of this move is that the service will be more responsive. Our laundry teams can provide service support for queries related Streamline schedules and orders, deliveries and collections, billing and invoicing and, any other customer queries.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed working practices for many businesses. Here at CLEAN we have embraced new ways of working. Many of our people are now working remotely or from home. Therefore, to allow greater flexibility we have invested in and upgraded our phone system. To allow us to embrace this change we have changed our customer service number to a 0333 number. These numbers are charged at the same rate as a standard rate call or are part of any inclusive minute’s package from a landline and, most importantly, from a mobile as well*.
Customers can now speak to our representatives by calling:
0333 016 9800
When anyone dials this number, they will be given the choice to press:
‘1’ for linen
‘2’ for workwear
Linen Service Customers will then be asked to choose the laundry that serves their hotel or property location.
The table below displays the option number for each laundry. For example, linen customers serviced by the Slough laundry should call 0333 016 9800 first choosing Option 1 for Linen then Option 4 for Slough.

* We have chosen a 0333 number because calls to these numbers cost no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). Calls from landlines are typically charged up to 16p per minute. Many providers charge a 23p call set-up fee (or 'connection charge'), but this can vary. Call charges are dependent on the time of day, and most providers offer call packages that allow calls free of charge at certain times of the day. Call costs from mobiles vary according to the calling plan chosen. Typically, they are included in free call packages. However, if you call an 01/02/03 number outside of any inclusive minutes, they can cost between 3p and 65p per minute.
