CLEAN is delighted to announce it is now supplying Shiva Hotel Group after successfully solving an urgent laundry service issue within 24 hours.

CLEAN came to the rescue of four of the group's hotels when its previous supply chain failed, ensuring the required quantity and quality of stock was ready the next day.

We were able to solve the issue thanks to our 42,000 sq. ft. super laundry in Slough, which is an integral part of the service provided to the London and south east hotel market.

Privately-owned Shiva Hotels Group has a portfolio of 10 hotels in London with 2,000 bedrooms currently operational or under development. Hotels served by CLEAN include the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, Double Tree by Hilton at ExCel, London Docklands and Hampton by Hilton in Waterloo, which the largest Hampton outside the USA.

CLEAN’s business development manager, Gareth Draper, said: “We are delighted to have partnered with Shiva Hotel Group to provide linen to their establishments across England.

Dominic Fitzgerald, Operations Director at the Shiva Hotel Group said: “Having visited CLEAN’s new laundry production facility in Slough I was impressed with their focus and commitment to operational excellence by investing in their business.

“This commitment was demonstrated as soon as we started to work with CLEAN. Following a failure in our supply chain they stepped in at very short notice to provide a full linen and towelling rental service to ensure that we could maintain the excellent service levels our hotel guests know and expect."

Last year, the hotel group became the first in the UK to launch an anti-slavery programme across each of its properties. Aimed at raising awareness among both guests and staff of human trafficking and modern slavery, the programme involves a range of training initiatives, and developing and sharing best practices.
