Chemical Splash Workwear Standards

The EN ISO 13034 standard specifies specific PPE clothing where there is a risk that the wearer is exposed to a light spattering of liquid chemicals where a complete liquid permeation barrier is not required (Type 6 and Type PB [6] equipment).

Workwear with this certification is suitable for use in areas where there is a risk of exposure to small splashes of chemicals but full body protection is not required. Clothing should be quickly removed if exposed to chemicals.
