Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a New Business Account Manager who is service industry focused and commercially aware.
Your new role
Reporting to the Implementation Manager, you will be working with the Commercial Team to manage the initial and post-install phase of the customer lifecycle for new contracts and contract renewals.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing efficient admin support to the Commercial Centre to ensure a smooth handover from the Sales Team to the Customer Service Team;
- Assisting at customers premises with wearer measures and installations for new business and contract renewals;
- Liaising with suppliers and the Central Stores team, to ensure milestones are achieved, products are compliant and that quality standards are met;
- Providing and analysing information and reports as required by the business.
Salary:
Up to £27,000 per annum depending upon experience
Shift Pattern or Hours of Work:
The role is for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be home based with half your time travelling to our customers' premises.
Your new role
Key responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring contract renewals are identified, logged, carried out on time, and are commercially assessed for margin contribution, in conjunction with serving laundry.
- Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of the customer relationship.
- Reviewing margin whenever possible with a view to maximising profitability whilst also retaining commercially desirable accounts
- Making operational decisions that put the customer first, at the same time considering CLEAN’s commercial position
- Identifying, prospecting and closing new business opportunities, specifically additional sites, linen and SOL opportunities
- Assisting in the management of new installations and customer handovers from sales and managing customer exits.
What do I need to apply for the role?
Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced support service professional, with a background in account management/customer service management, and if you have experience in our industry, even better!
Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills in English (our business language) and be competent in using Microsoft packages. You will need to have great attention to detail, be customer focused, and able to manage your time and workload efficiently. You will also need to be confident in handling any issues that arise, and can identify when they need to be escalated.
You will need eligibility to work in the UK and of course, you will need a valid driving licence!
