Regional Sales Consultant- Field based - South West England

Due to our continued success, our workwear division is growing, and we are looking for a Regional Sales Consultant to join our team.

We are a leading laundry company providing professional linen and workwear rental to the hospitality (hotels, holiday parks and serviced apartments) and manufacturing industries throughout the UK.

Salary:

£35,000 per annum, plus car allowance/car and a fabulous uncapped and rewarding package

Shift Pattern or Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility to meet the needs of the customers.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Sales Director (Workwear), we are looking for a highly motivated Regional Sales Consultant to cover the South West region from Exeter along the M5 corridor back towards Bath including Yeovil, where your local office base will be who can offer full support when required.

Your new role

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Establishing a personal portfolio of workwear customers through cold calling, or via personal visits to ensure targets that are set by the company are not only met but very often, exceeded;
  • Consulting with the customer to establish that the correct, fit for purpose and quantity of garments are selected and delivered;
  • Ensuring paperwork is correctly filled out and submitted on time in accordance with customer and company timelines;
  • Working unaccompanied in a dedicated sales area ensuring a good knowledge of local customers contract end dates, workwear requirements and timelines are met;
  • Reporting weekly/ monthly pipelines and forecasts to the Sales Director on time and that Netsuite (CLEAN CRM System) is kept up to date allowing correct and accurate forecasts to be submitted.

What do I need to apply for the role?

  • A proven high calibre sales professional ideally within the UK rental workwear arena, but a full understanding of workwear/ garment/PPE compliance is essential;
  • A proven record of success in winning profitable business and able to demonstrate overachieving new business sales targets;
  • Experience within a Regional Sales role, and the ability to work unaccompanied within a dedicated sales territory;
  • The capability to produce new revenue by researching and analysing potential prospects and sales options (i.e. a consultative sales approach);
  • Someone who can lead and coordinate contract negotiations to a successful close;
  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft suite, CRM tools).
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
