CLEAN to participate in Brake Road Safety Week

Posted on Nov 04, 2025

At CLEAN, the safety of our colleagues and the communities we serve is fundamental to our operations. That is why we are pleased to announce our participation in Brake’s Road Safety Week, running from 16–22 November 2025.

This year’s theme, Safe vehicles save lives, aligns perfectly with our core commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and dependability on the road.

Why Road Safety is Our Priority

Every year in the UK, road crashes have a devastating impact on thousands of families. As an operator of a large vehicle fleet, we recognise our profound responsibility to be part of the solution. For our customers, this commitment is a cornerstone of the reliable service you depend on. It ensures our drivers are safe, our vehicles are roadworthy, and our operations enhance, rather than risk, the wellbeing of the communities we work in every day.

A Recognised, Proactive Approach to Safety

Our dedication to safety is not just a policy; it is a core part of our culture, recognised at the highest levels of our industry.

We are honoured to have built a consistent record of winning RoSPA Fleet Safety awards and to have recently received the Company Driver Safety Award at the Brake UK Fleet Safety Awards. Furthermore, we are proud to be named a Finalist for the Safety in Logistics Initiative of the Year Award at the upcoming Logistics UK Awards in December 2025.

These accolades are built on the individual excellence and consistent effort of our entire team. This is perfectly demonstrated by the recent recognition of our driver, Sean Farrell, as a Samsara Top Driver.

Our approach is proactive. We use advanced technology, including data from our Samsara camera systems, to help us understand driver behaviour, identify potential risks early, and provide targeted coaching and wellbeing support. This allows us to move beyond compliance and actively cultivate a culture of continuous safety improvement.

Our Focus for the Week

Our focus during Road Safety Week will be holistic, recognising that true road safety comes from both safe vehicles and safe drivers. We will be engaging with industry experts on key topics such as fleet compliance, vehicle pre-checks, and load security. This commitment to ongoing learning ensures our team remains at the forefront of road safety best practices, reinforcing the dependability of our service.

A Partner You Can Trust

For CLEAN, road safety is more than a campaign; it is integral to our identity as a dependable partner. Our award-winning safety record and proactive initiatives demonstrate a deep-seated commitment that gives our customers, colleagues, and communities confidence in our operations, today and every day.
