Sean’s Story - From a Van Driver to Senior Driver and Driving Assessor
Sean joined CLEAN as a Van Delivery Driver in 2016. After joining CLEAN he qualified firstly as a Category 2 HGV driver and then passed his C+E test allowing him to drive any large goods vehicle with a trailer up to a combined weight of 44 tonnes. Josh Drummond - Production Manager
Josh first started working for CLEAN in 2013 as a Production Operator, feeding linen into the ironer. Through hard work and determination, he was moved to the towel folder and trained to work in the wash house. After a year of working for CLEAN, he was promoted to Production Supervisor where his role was to supervise production, help wherever he could, report any accidents or machinery malfunctions to the engineers. After three years of being production supervisor, he was promoted to Production Manager.

Industrial Uniform Laundry Process
In this video we guide you through our ISO 9001 Quality Management Certified laundry process at our Cheltenham laundry where the uniforms are scanned and tracked throughout the process. Firstly, all the uniforms returned by our customers are scanned to register that they have been returned to the laundry at this stage they are also sorted, checked for any damage that might need repair and any foreign objects are removed. The next stage is washing where full thermal disinfection is carried out to remove any dirt, bacteria or viruses that could be present, before transferal to our high care facility. This is where a second scan and quality check takes place before the finishing process where drying and further thermal disinfection take place. Any damage that has been reported, either by customers before being returned to the laundry or identified at the laundry, undergoes stringent inspection. Depending upon the findings of the inspection, garments are either repaired, damaged labels replaced or garments are removed and replaced with new garments.

Claire’s Story - from Administrator to Operations Manager
Claire started working for CLEAN in as a Site Administrator in 2014. Her first role was to support the management team and provide admin support to ensure the smooth running of the laundry site. In this role Claire assisted with payroll administration, ensuring people got paid correctly and on time, supporting the human resources and being a point of contact for customer service queries, liaising with the operations and transport teams and the laundry and the customer service centre. A health and safety culture and ensuring colleagues, customers and contractors return home safely to their families at the end of every working day is part of the company ethos at CLEAN.
