CLEAN celebrates talent at annual Employee Recognition Awards - News - CLEAN Services

Launched in 2018 to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our workforce, the employee recognition awards have evolved to showcase the entire team’s triumphs with new awards to champion those making a difference across the organisation and a company-wide celebration.

New for 2019, we have launched Customer Service Champion, CLEAN Driver of the Year and CLEAN Employee of the Year awards to showcase the incredible individuals working across the business.

The company-wide and individual site winners have been chosen from those who have been honoured through the quarterly CLEAN Champion scheme and Driver of the Month award. The Champions are nominated by their site directors and senior managers and the drivers are chosen based on the quality of their driving and customer service.

The 2019 roll of honour includes:

  • Special recognition has been given to Yeovil’s engineering manager Daniel Stalley, for his time as operations manager, leading his team to record a 343 day-run of having no shortages of linen; this exemplifies Daniel’s focus on customer service
  • Regularly receiving commendable comments from customers and his team, Yeovil driver Alexandru Ignat has been named 2019 Driver of the Year, sponsored by Verilocation and Ryder. Alexandru has been rewarded £500 from Verilocation and a £100 M&S voucher from Ryder for his courteous and supportive approach to his role.
  • Avtar Singh, customer service manager at head office, has been awarded CLEAN Customer Service Champion, 2019. A true professional and exemplary example to his team, Avtar has been recognised for his passion and outstanding work ethic in taking the quality of CLEAN’s service to our customers to the next level and rewarded £500 for his efforts.
  • The pinnacle award for CLEAN Employee of the Year, 2019 has been presented to Anna Plata, production team leader at Slough. Anna has been rewarded £1,000 for her unwavering professionalism and dedication, which has seen her take responsibility for and complete high-level customer installations efficiently and with a positive attitude.

CLEAN has also rewarded one member of the laundry team and one driver at each of its seven sites with a framed certificate and a £100 Amazon voucher.
