CLEAN appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Leading hospitality laundry and linen supplier CLEAN has appointed Kevin Godley as Chief Financial Officer.

Kevin joins CLEAN after spending five years at Gama Aviation Plc, where in his capacity as Chief Financial Officer, he helped steer the company from a private equity backed business onto the AIM market through the reverse merger acquisition of Hangar8 Plc.

Throughout Kevin’s time at Gama Aviation Plc, the business enjoyed substantial organic and acquisition related growth with Total Group Revenues rising from $180 million to $600 million in that period.

Kevin will be using this experience to support the next phase of CLEAN’s growth in the linen rental and laundry industry.

Kevin has Bachelor of Science degree from Bath University and qualified as a chartered accountant with Moore Stephens LLP.

CLEAN's Chief Executive Officer said: “We are thrilled to have Kevin on board in time for another exciting year for the company. We have ambitions to increase our revenues from current levels to £100million by 2020 in which Kevin will play a pivotal role.”

Kevin joins CLEAN after an exciting 12 months, which saw the company open a £15m world-class super laundry in Slough and invested £2.5m in its Yeovil laundry, creating an additional 90 jobs and improving the business as part of ongoing growth plans.
