Are you a hotel operator considering a linen rental service? If yes, then you’ve come to the right place. Here, I want to tell you how hotels can benefit from leasing their linen.
By outsourcing linen supply, you need not worry about using cash to buy and maintain a large stock of linen which means more money in the bank for your business. Good husbandry of stock by hotel teams and careful management of stock levels by us means high quality linen will always be available to you when and where you need it.
One thing hotel operators should consider when choosing their linen supplier is that the cheapest price isn’t necessarily the best deal. When choosing a linen supplier, a number of things should be considered, such as the quality of the product and service and what contingencies are in place if something should go wrong. The locations of sites and the routes drivers take are important considerations. At CLEAN if one site sees a spike in demand during a peak operating period, our nationwide network allows us to use another of our sites to meet the additional demand seamlessly.
The majority of our hotel customers require bright white bedsheets and pillow cases. These can range from anything between 130-250 thread count, in a variety of sizes and be made of different blends of cotton rich percale and poly cotton. Face cloths, towels and bath mats can range anywhere between 450gsm to 900gsm and be made of 100% cotton or 100% ring spun cotton. What we supply all depends on the requirements of our customers and the type of hotels they manage.
Environment commitment
Hotel operators are dedicated to providing the best service for their customers and therefore require the cleanest and highest quality linen. CLEAN is a member of the Textile Services Association (TSA) who are dedicated to promoting, protecting and educating the textile care professionals industry. The TSA have signed up to the government’s Climate Change Agreement where the UK textile rental industry has committed to reducing its energy consumption by 25% before 2020.
As responsible business leaders we take this commitment seriously and by incorporating the latest technology and processes, we achieve greater energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. We were delighted to be recognised for this at The Green Apple Awards where we were given the Environmental Best Practice award.
We know that hotel customers and hotel operators care about the environment too. When hotels choose a green supplier, their customers can relax safe in the knowledge that they can enjoy their stay without worrying about using an extra towel.
