CLEAN announces partnership with the UK's largest hospitality company

We are pleased to announce a new long-term partnership with the UK's largest hospitality company Whitbread PLC. The new collaboration will see CLEAN provide quality linen to more than 15,000 bedrooms across 150 Premier Inn branded hotels.

The largest single contract win in CLEAN’s 131-year history, the partnership is the outcome of an 18-month relationship that began as Whitbread launched a laundry service review across its Premier Inn portfolio.

A fast-growing business that has been consistently rated the UK's Best Value Hotel Chain by YouGov, Premier Inn is set to continue its rapid expansion over the next few years. Exceptional quality and value still remain a top priority for Premier Inn which led to the appointment of CLEAN as a UK based hotel linen supplier that demonstrated the systems, processes and service levels required to deliver a robust and reliable supply of linen.

A large-scale installation project is now underway to ensure each hotel’s laundry function is streamlined and the on-site teams are fully briefed. The initial phase of the installation project will be complete in the summer and is critical in the initial stages of the laundry switchover as the CLEAN team uses this opportunity to work alongside management and housekeeping teams to deploy an efficient and dependable service.

Due to our network of well-invested laundries across England, we are able to provide customers with a seamless service by utilising all production facilities available. A sophisticated route planning system ensures the delivery routes taken are as efficient as possible, keeping delivery times, road miles and emissions to a minimum.

With an estimated 44,000 new hotel rooms set to open across the UK hotel market this year, our brand new 42,000 sq. ft. super laundry in Slough will be an integral part of the service provided to Premier Inn, and the booming London and south east hotel market, as the our customer portfolio continues to grow.
