CLEAN Strengthens Sustainability Credentials with Improved EcoVadis Rating

What is EcoVadis?

EcoVadis is an independent organisation that rates how well companies manage sustainability. It looks at areas such as environmental impact, business ethics, employee wellbeing and responsible supply chain management.

A Stronger Sustainability Performance

CLEAN improved its score across all four assessment areas:

Environment: 75 to 84

Labour & Human Rights: 72 to 76

Ethics: 65 to 75

Sustainable Procurement: 77 to 80

The results reflect continued progress across the business, from reducing environmental impact and improving efficiency to strengthening governance and responsible business practices.

Leading the Way on Sustainability

The strongest improvements were seen in Environment and Ethics, recognising the work being carried out to reduce emissions, improve resource efficiency, strengthen compliance and embed responsible decision-making throughout the organisation.

These improvements demonstrate CLEAN's ongoing commitment to operating responsibly and creating long-term value for customers, colleagues and communities.

Closer Than Ever to Gold Status

Although CLEAN narrowly missed EcoVadis Gold status this year, the company is now closer than ever to achieving this milestone and remains focused on continuous improvement.
