This marks the third occasion that CLEAN has received this accolade, reserved for an elite group of organisations that have consistently secured the RoSPA Gold Medal Awards for ten or more years in succession.

This accolade demonstrates our dedication to ensuring colleagues, customers, and contractors return home safely at the end of each working day. Organisations receiving the RoSPA Award are considered world leaders in health and safety practices. They showcase well-developed occupational health and safety management systems, a keen awareness of potential hazards, outstanding risk control, and minimal levels of error, harm, and loss.

The RoSPA Awards, now in their 68th year, attract nearly 2,000 entries annually from nearly 50 countries, impacting over seven million employees worldwide.

The RoSPA scheme, run by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, recognises organisations that demonstrate robust health and safety management, hazard awareness, and risk control, leading to minimal incidents and losses. CLEAN’s dedication to safety is evident in its standardised policies, enhanced safety systems, and educational materials tailored for its workforce.

Our accomplishments are rooted in the meticulous documentation of close calls and safety observations, enabling trend analysis through our safety performance system. CLEAN’s agile approach to hazard identification and safety advocacy reinforces the principle that effective management relies on clear and forward-thinking leadership in safety initiatives.

Chris Bell, Head of Health, Safety and Environment at CLEAN, said: " CLEAN’s philosophy - “Everyday Excellence – Everyday Safety.” is considered a core business critical value to consistently achieve and successfully deliver continuous excellence.
